Richard is an accomplished investment professional and business leader with 30+ years of property, banking and private equity experience. He has several private equity roles, including acting as Senior Advisor to Actis and TPG Real Estate and the Chairman of Great Portland Estates. His previous board experience includes acting as Deputy Chairman of Alstria Office REIT-AG, Senior Independent Director of Hansteen Holdings, St Modwen Properties, ISG and Standard Life Aberdeen. Richard was also the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Soros Real Estate Partners LLC, where he steered the firm’s investments in Europe and served on the investment committee of each of the firm’s funds. As an investment banker, he served as a Partner and Managing Director for Bankers Trust Company. He has a B.Sc. in Economics from University College London and an MBA in Finance from Bayes Business School.
